Lacy, retired chairman and chief executive officer (CEO), who passed away on August 28, 2016 of respiratory failure.

Mr. Lacy's distinguished career with MGIC spanned 28 years, and he was admired and respected for his tenacity and drive. He was appointed president and CEO in 1987.
